iOS 5 Countdown: Day 35- iTech Event

Welcome to day 35! Todays topic will be on Gameloft's 4 Unreal Technology games which are rumored to be released this year. Unreal Engine is the system behind many beautifully built iOS games such as Infinity Blade and Dungeon Defenders: First Wave. The most prominent feature of the Unreal Engine is the unbeatable graphics and the ability to incorporate complex gameplay into a mobile game, and this is what Gameloft is aiming to do.

Gameloft has already released a trailer of what is to be the first of these 4 games- March of Heroes. It is a first-person-shooter which (from the trailer), seems to be set during the cold war. Judging from the trailer, the graphics are absolutely brilliant and are in league with those of Infinity Blade. The controls also look very intuitive and if Gameloft plays their cards right with this game, it could be an instant bestseller.

Gameloft hasn't released any information about their other 3 upcoming Unreal technology games, but it will most likely be an RPG/hack'n'slash (Hero of Sparta?) to match the success of Infinity Blade. Hopefully they will release them soon, because the iTech Team can't wait!
